Responsibilities:
The employee will be responsible for coordinating with the client and managing subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of the project in accordance with the approved scope of work, schedule, quality requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
· Act as the key project coordination point between the company, client, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders.
· Plan, monitor, and coordinate construction activities for the Water Treatment Plant and Water Intake components under the SBAUP project scope.
· Manage and coordinate the execution of construction works for the Water Treatment Plant and Water Intake components under the SBAUP project scope.
· Liaise with the client, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders on project requirements, technical matters, site progress, approvals, inspections, and handover requirements.
· Plan, monitor, and coordinate site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, work programme, quality requirements, and safety requirements.
· Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, constraints, or site issues, and coordinate corrective or mitigation actions to support timely project delivery.
· Manage and follow up on subcontractor performance, manpower, materials, equipment, work quality, site readiness, and compliance with project requirements.
· Prepare, review, and submit project progress reports, site records, minutes of meetings, inspection records, technical documentation, and other required project documents.
· Coordinate site meetings, technical discussions, inspections, testing and commissioning activities, issue resolution, defect rectification, and project close-out activities.
· Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company procedures, statutory requirements, quality plans, environmental requirements, and health, safety, and security standards.
· Support the completion, handover, and final acceptance of the project by the client.
Requirement:
· Candidate must possess at least least Bachelor 's Degree in Engineering (Civil), Construction Management, Project Management, or other relevant discipline.
· At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in construction, water treatment plant, water intake, infrastructure, or utility-related projects will be an advantage.
· Well-developed interpersonal skills to develop, maintain and enhance client relationships.
· Strong analytical skills to develop effective, innovative and commercial solutions.
· Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
· Knowledge of project coordination, construction supervision, progress monitoring, quality control, documentation, and safety compliance. Required Competencies ® Strong project coordination and site management skills. . Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
